WE MOVED INTO OUR NEW FOREVER HOME - October 2020 Update

We are excited to announce we have moved into our new facilty on Saturday, September 26! While we have moved, our Capital Campaign is far from over. We are $800,000 short of our final goal that will allow us to purchase the building on Penny Lane.

INTRODUCING 342 PENNY LANE, CONCORD

Cabarrus Meals on Wheels provides an average of 488 meals to homebound seniors and disabled adults EVERY weekday throughout Cabarrus county. Our current facility has reached full capacity. We are unable to serve more people in our current space. At a time when our service is needed more than ever to help take care of our most vulnerable residents, we are unable to add more capacity.

With your help, we will move into a new space. The new space WILL TRIPLE our current space.

The new space will include:

an almost 3,000 sq foot commercial kitchen
a volunteer information area
all our offices (REAL offices with doors!)
a conference room
ample parking
a designated pet food room
a designated Holiday/Birthday gift room

Expanding our facilities will allow us to serve over 1000 meals each day giving our seniors access to high-quality meals and daily social interaction with our caring volunteers.

This new space will allow us to expand our services and allow us to provide well into the future.
