Concord, NC – Cabarrus Meals on Wheels is proud to announce that Executive Director Kimberly Strong has been elected to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs (NANASP), a leading national organization advocating for quality nutrition and healthy aging for older adults.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management and senior nutrition services, Strong brings a powerful combination of vision, operational expertise, and advocacy to the national stage. Her election to the NANASP Board underscores her ongoing commitment to advancing the health, dignity, and independence of older Americans.
“I am deeply honored to join the NANASP Board and contribute to its mission of supporting and strengthening community-based nutrition and aging programs across the country,” said Strong. “At a time when older adults face increasing challenges—from food insecurity to isolation—collaborative leadership is more important than ever.”
Under Strong’s leadership, Cabarrus Meals on Wheels has expanded its reach, implemented innovative service models, and built strategic partnerships to better serve homebound seniors in North Carolina. She also serves as President of Meals on Wheels North Carolina and is the founder of StrongOps Nonprofit Solutions, a consulting firm focused on operational excellence in the nonprofit sector.
