How You Can Help
Cabarrus Meals on Wheels provides a great opportunity for people to volunteer and make a difference in the life of a senior. Delivery volunteers pick up meals from our office and hand-deliver them directly to seniors' homes. Meals on Wheels is also important because we provide a safety check every day to seniors who are living at home.
Help Homebound Get Around Town
We are looking for volunteer drivers to service older adults, adults with disabilities and veterans in our community. Neighbors helping Neighbors. Let’s work together! Click here to learn more and see training information.
Help with Special Events
We have many events throughout the year that we always need help with. This is a great way to help annually without the commitment of a scheduled volunteer day.
Adopt a Route
Business, churches or individuals can adopt-a-route, which means that they have one day a week or even the entire route and make that their own route; they have one person who is the chairperson of that route and each person works out their time among each other. We appreciate three of our local Rotary clubs (Rotary Club of Cabarrus County, Kannapolis Rotary, and Concord Rotary) for adopting routes as well as businesses like CMC Northeast and Allen Tate.
